The National
Trust and the National Trust for Scotland are major organisations
keeping historically noteworthy buildings and monuments in care
for future generations. They also look after areas of outstanding
beauty such as main miles of coastline and countryside.

MOTORING ORGANISATIONS:
The Automobile Association (AA) and the
Royal Automobile Club (RAC) give breakdown cover to members and
also provide travel and navigation information. They also act
as a lobbying body to government.
